Happy September HPUD

How can it be September already? Hive is getting on for six months old and we already have a tradition of people powering up to start each month. Hive account@traciyork has been been coordinating this. There are prizes to be won in Hive Power Up Day if you qualify. My rep and total HP are too high, but I will participate anyway.

My incentive to power up is to get to orca sooner. That has been helped by selling most of my STEEM for HIVE plus some other airdrops. I am even selling the BLURT I got for the difference it makes.

I am getting close to orca now. It is actually based on 'vests' rather than HIVE.

Over on HiveBuzz you can see how close you are to the next level. Orca is 100,000,000 (dolphin 10m, minnow 1m). Hive account@hivebuzz are also allocating badges for HPUD with variants according to how much you add. The amounts are not being revealed until after the event, but it has to be at least 10 HIVE.

The HIVE price went up a little yesterday and maybe it could go further if enough people buy some. on Hive account@coingecko they have the ability to vote your confidence in a coin and it looks like someone organised a campaign against HIVE. It looks better today, but a few extra votes could make it look even better. We need to see it back in the top 100 coins soon.
