Today has been hectic and exciting for me as I've been keeping up with the changes on Hive/Steem, tracking the ever changing policies of the UK Gov. regarding Covid 19 and helping friends around the world make optimal decisions as they plan their survival through this whole experience.
Thanks to everyone working hard to make Hive a success. My witness server is now successfully serving blocks on Hive and is no more serving STEEM. I know there has been some controversy regarding the accounts that did not receive an airdrop on Hive and I feel some of the distress of people realising that the community wasn't playing when it said that it won't stand for centralisation on the blockchain. It has been quite an eye opener to see how many prominent people on STEEM simply don't seem to understand the basic principles of decentralisation. This has also been true for big mouthed people on Twitter, but I have so far managed to silence them by demonstrating the flaws in their thinking when they say that Justin was wronged somehow.
Aside from all the drama, I look forward to things finding a new balance here on Hive and am glad to know that key projects like 3speak are fully supporting this new evolution of the Steem code.
So far my experience of peakd.com, the hive version of steempeak.com has been positive, although I note that some of the javascript functions are failing - such as autosaves and saving templates. Hopefully these will be ironed out in the near future.
I'll let the hive team get on with bugfixing and for now I'm moving on with the final changes to mspwaves.com - which should be live in the next few days. Woop!
Wishing you well
