I managed to get a better shot of River. She has barely been still since getting home yesterday. I had to go so far as to put her back in the carier around one this morning. Little did I know she was only trying to tell me her food and water bowl were empty. I was too tired to think of checking.
The boys have pretty much been hanging out near my door since I brought River home yesterday. They know she is hear but I had to wait twentyfour hours and then some.
The clinic called this morning to check on her and told me the longer I kept her away from the others the better especially since at four months the boys are still trying to nurse from River. I figured one more day would be ok.
I will release River from confinement sometime tomorrow. I will first let the others in the room while she is in the carier to aclimate them back together slowly. I may bring River back in to my room tomorrow night just to keep the wound from opening while I sleep.
I will be making contact with a few groups this week to see if I can get her in with them for adoption either this week end or next week end. I will keep you all posted.
