Life is life, full of mistakes. Mistakes that were done on purpose, and mistakes that were done on accident. The question is, when a mistake has been made, how do you fix it?, if you wanted to fix it?

The #hiveairdrop, for the most part, went fairly smooth. With anything that deals with code, there are going to be some issues that arise simply because code does what it is told to do. In this case, the code was told to exclude certain people who had either voted directly, or by proxy, for witnessess that were deemed bad actors. It makes sense, the fork was to get rid of the people who weren't abiding by the original rules, if you will, on the STEEM BC. So we start a new chain excluding those bad actors.
But what happens when GOOD people somehow get caught up in the code, now being deemed bad actors? Such as the case for two people whom I have had the good fortune of getting to know here on Steem and now Hive for the better part of 2 years.
It is obvious to anyone that knows them that they are not bad actors. They are amazing, selfless, self-sufficient, food loving family people, who made me want to be more active here. I wanted to read more of their stories and engage with them. It absolutely breaks my heart reading that they now, for their sanity and probably blood pressure, need to step away from Hive and just cool off. It absolutely crushes me seeing people hurt needlessly.
When an OBVIOUS mistake has been made, it is only right to ADMIT the mistake and THEN....MAKE IT RIGHT.
If you don't know by now who these two amazing people are, they are and
.
If you're a witness that I am currently voting for, I ask that YOU help make this right.
If you're looking to become a witness or want MY vote, then help make this happen.
Doing the right thing should come naturally to us. So let's do that. It's time to right the ship and admit a mistake has been made.
