🎨 Hey art community!!
We’re deep in summer vibes, so I thought it was the perfect time to share this collage:
“The Elder with Broken Wings and His Muses.”
This piece came from a place of stillness — and maybe even exhaustion.
The central figure, the elder, is someone who’s seen and lived a lot. His wings are broken. He’s not flying anymore. But he hasn’t stopped creating. In fact, maybe he’s creating in a deeper way now.
His hand still paints.
But the movement is slow. Intentional. Sacred.
All around him, muses appear:
ethereal women dancing barefoot in the grass,
a pinecone, symbol of enlightenment and hidden wisdom,
flowers and minerals,
an all-seeing eye suspended in the sky,
a golden bloom that feels almost divine.
It’s like the universe still sends him signs.
Even when he’s grounded, he’s not alone.
🌀 For me, this collage speaks about a different kind of strength — the strength of still presence.
The power of memory. The beauty of soft vision.
He’s not chasing inspiration. He is inspiration, because he has lived.
What do you see when you look at this piece?
Do you relate to this kind of energy — calm, grounded, reflective?
