I understand your disappointment very well and I can hear the arguments that you develop concerning your involvement and the efforts made every day. But I will find it unfair to change the rules or make exceptions along the way.

We have come to realize that the rules are both simple and difficult to stick to for a long time. But this is also what will give the badge value for those who succeed in earning it.
This is also why we will take the time for an evaluation at the end of the challenge before starting the next edition.
