I must say that today has been one of the busiest day for me, and while in the midst of it all I got my regular 'check-mental-health' pop-up alarm on my device.
Thing is, for the past 2 years I made it a habit to check on my mental well-being on a regular because fam there's a tone that can keep you incredibly busy, it could be your job, home, business or as hivers 🎮gaming Etal that you get overwhelmed.
So let's get right to it...
First things first, a few worthy note
📝It's very safe to note that we all have mental health and, like our bodies, our minds can become unwell.
📝It’s important to talk about mental health and get help early if things don’t feel right, just like we would for our physical health.
📍1 in 10 young people will experience a mental health Problem.
📍These problems include but not limited to;
✔Depression
✔Anxiety disorder
✔Eating disorders
✔Immerse Stress level

✔You have felt happy in the past week

Now that is your mental health! Your mental health is your emotions. It is normal to feel a whole range of emotions, including negative ones. We all have mental health just as we all have physical health.
When negative emotions persist for a long period and get in the way of us functioning in our daily lives as we ordinarily might, THAT MEANS OUR MENTAL HEALTH IS NOT IN A GOOD PLACE and we may have a mental health problem.
The point of the assumption that if you have a District Mental Health Program (DMHP), that means you are never Happy & Things are always tough for you isn’t true. With the right support, one can learn to fully Recover & Experience very good mental wellbeing.
