I'm coming to HiveFest and managed to get cheap flights!

I've just booked my tickets and flights for HiveFest9!

I had held off on booking tickets because my friend Hive account@brianoflondon had said they were expensive and I was concerned about airline cancellations because of the war (Israel vs Iran & proxies).

But I just managed to get some really cheap flights to Split that I wanted to share.

I got a 10 Sept flight from Rome to Split on RyanAir for $18!

I got a 15 Sept morning flight from Split to Athens for $68.

I'm connecting from these flights to ~$100 flights on an Israeli airline from/to Tel Aviv.
A lot of foreign airlines have stopped flying to Israel because of the tensions with Iran - running away at the first whiff of grapeshot.

But Israeli airlines are made of sterner stuff and have been enjoying the lack of competition.
El Al has had record profits because Israelis still love to travel.
Flights had become a lot more expensive, but I managed to get some cheapish ones.

Looking forward to seeing friends new and old in Split.
