Good day to you all splinter-cells out there.
It has been quite some time since the new season has come out. And, most of the battles I've taken part in yielded meager amounts of RP; I don't know why that happened.
Also, the amount of Rating loss per lost battle was significantly higher than the rating gain and the RP points were proportionally less. It didn't make sense until today that finally changed. The wins yielded more Ratings and just got 490 RP points off of 2 wins.
7 more days until the season comes to an end, hoping to get more season chests. That would be difficult though since I ascended to Silver 3 and the silver chests require more than 6500 RP points.
That was a preview of the past few days. Now, let's start the real show.
With a mana cap of 99, I chose the most sensible summoner from the options of Fire(Tarsa), Water(Keyla Frendrul), and Nature(Obsidian).
Believe me when I say that Nature monsters can be assembled into an absolute banger but then I couldn't risk the opponent getting the Fire monsters and completely annihilating me. So, I went for the Water summoner.
Moreover, I know I've said before that I should invest in another summoner that would be best for higher mana caps. But, the cost of these monsters is too much, hence I rented some. One of them being Torhilo The Frozen.
My Team
Tank: Torhilo The Frozen.
Attackers: Flying Squid, Djinn Oshannus, Deeplurker, Swamp Spitter.
Healers: Merdali Guardian.
Torhilo is an amazing tank, with high damage and HP with an additional shield this monster is an absolute devastator, except for its appalling battle point which is 1. The Swamp Spitter and the Merdali Guardian are the best healers in the deck, giving a +2 shield and +3 HP to the others.
Oppositions Team
Tank: Demon Shark.
Attackers: Flying Squid, Deeplurker, Supply Runner.
Attacker but stagnant: Demented Shark.
He had 2 stars in the deck, his Demon Shark and Demented Shark. Since only 1 could attack, his overall damage output toward my monsters was less.
10 moves later, my Tank looked like it was in trouble. It had lost its shield and an HP but his tank barely lost its shield. The Deeplurker tried to take out my Merdaali Guardian and took out its shield, luckily Swamp Spitter increased the shield by 1.
More turns went by and the Shield of my tank increased by 2 thanks to the Spitter. My Deeplurker missed his mark this time and the Supply Runner gets to keep his shield for another round.
This was the round where the game turned towards me. The Demon Shark was down to 3 HP. My Merdaali Guardian was wide open this time since my Swamp Spitter had already used his shield grant ability.
7 moves later, the game turned towards him. Torhilo was now gone, and my Flying squid was in the tank's position. His Demon Shark had 1 HP, soon to be vanquished.
A 5 v 5 was afoot. My Merdaali Guardian was exposed once again, and my tank was getting bashed. This was where my Swamp Spitter was forced to provide for the tank.
Finally, my Merdaali Guardian kicked the bucket thanks to his Deeplurker. It was a 4 v 5 where his tank was getting pummelled.
His Flying Squid was dead, it was down to a 4 v 4. My Flying squid was still alive and kicking, and his Oshannus was in the first position.
The last move for the round was played by my Deeplurker. It took out the shield of the Supply Runner.
Oshannnus lands a hit on the Flying Squid, while the others waited for their turns.
This way, my Deeplurker was taken out by his monsters. Oshannus ascends to the first position. It was now a 3 v 4, and my Swamp Spitter hit his tank, dealing a -2 damage to his HP.
The round begins with my tank hitting his.
His Supply Runner was at his final HP while my Swamp Spitter hits his tank again.
Soon, his Supply Runner fell making it a 3 v 3 where his tank was reduced to 3. My Swamp Spitter had his shield taken away by the Deeplurker.
During Spitter's turn, he had increased his own shield by 2. This was his Deeplurker's attack was negated and his Oshannus was in critical health.
A constant repetition of my Swamp Spitter and his Deeplurker's attack and defense was on meanwhile my Oshannus and Swamp's attack was on the new tank, the Demented Shark all while my Deeplurker was working his through the tank since his ability was Sneak.
And finally, at the end of the 9 round and at the beginning of the 10th round the vicious Underwater battle has finally come to an end.
This duration of the battle was not too long for a 99-mana battle. The other ones I've played and shared in the past were over by similar number of rounds. Thank you guys for reading thus far, hope you have a fantastic time watching time battle.
