I felt very lucky on Tuesday morning to catch the moonset and get the delicate pink in the sky. I finished the new set of plant notes, the laundry, and cleaned up the kitchen.
My helper friend arrived and we went to the cellar to collect all the equipment we’d need to set up the rest of the roundtop window and the office.
I’d decided to do the office first as last year, the first year I set it up, we’d had to scavenge for supports for the bottom shelf. This year I had new-to-me wooden boxes. They made it so much easier! I started new notes because of it and we labeled all the new parts. Hopefully setting up will be even easier next year.
I’d sat and figured out how many new spots I needed on heat mats, etc with this starting and I’ll have plenty with this area and the 2 shelves in the roundtop.
It was well after lunch time when I finished. I pushed the armoire into place and I was done. Not finished, just done.
My son did the heavy grass raking in the afternoon so I just have the side yard to do on Wednesday. I also have to wash the 2 small windows in my brother’s room and get the screens in. It’s going to get hot by Thursday and he will need ventilation in there. I’ve also got to get some more plant trays washed. We need 13 and I think there’s one or 2 done…
I don’t imagine I will get more than that done on Wednesday. My tenant and my son are supposed to start cutting up all the downed trees on the back 40 Wednesday afternoon. I hope they can make good progress.
