I’ve always been drawn to electro music. Not just as a genre, but as a feeling - raw, mechanical, and honest. Electro doesn’t try to impress; it just exists. Over the years, that love has led me to genuine underground artists and real conversations around the culture.
That’s how I came across Adam Grow.
I first heard a few of Adam’s tracks and mixes after being introduced to his work through Andre “Elektro” Morales, who had made a set for CHP Recordings (Adam's record label). From there, Adam and I talked a bit mostly about electro, artists we respect, and even Mark Starr and his time in Croatia.
We didn’t chat for a while after that.
Then, months later, I noticed Adam’s Halloween-themed Christmas tree and told him how cool it is. I could say that tree kinda described Adam's music: dark, playful, unconventional, and unapologetically different.
That’s also how I like to celebrate this time of year. Not traditionally, not quietly, but my own way.
Adam Grow operates in the darker spectrum of electro - mysterious, driving, and deeply underground. His music works just as well for late-night listening as it does for dark electro New Year’s celebrations.
Here are five Adam Grow tracks I recommend if you’re into dark, mysterious electro:
🔊 Elektrotropolis – cold, mechanical, and cinematic

🔊 Inner f_EAR (Samhain Sessions) – eerie and hypnotic
https://on.soundcloud.com/lapdAwtzUdyYXWO9Cp
🔊 Headbanger – raw electro with bite

🔊 Evil – gritty, industrial-leaning grooves

🔊 Later – nocturnal energy, perfect after midnight

These are tracks meant to be played loud, felt physically, and shared with people who understand the sound.
If you love electro with a darker edge, check out Adam Grow’s Bandcamp, and explore his SoundCloud, where you’ll find not only his tracks, but also releases and DJ sets from the CHP Recordings team. (not all of them are dark, but I'm positive you'll like some).

And here’s a practical thought:
If you’ve got a Grinch, a Halloween-over-Christmas type of person, or someone who loves dark electro and you have no idea what to buy them, something from CHP Recordings is a far better choice than another forgettable pair of socks (or another ugly sweater). Music actually lasts.
This is music for people who don’t celebrate by the rules, and honestly, that’s the best way to do it!
🖤 Turn it up. Celebrate your way.
