Hello, hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a wonderful, crafty day
I am back at my favorite little wooden stool today, and I’m so excited to show you what I’ve been working on. You know how I love my fuzzy wire flowers, but sometimes a bouquet needs a little something extra to make it look full and professional. That’s why I decided to dabble in making these floral sprays
These might look simple, but they are actually a bunch of tiny, delicate pieces that I group together to form these long, elegant stems. I’ve been using a mix of soft pastels like lavender, buttery yellow, peach, and a sky blue. They look almost like little wildflower buds waiting to bloom
The process is definitely full of those menial tasks I always talk about like lots of cutting, twisting, and carefully taping the tiny buds onto the green wire stems ( I am using fuzzy wires for the stems BTW). It takes a bit of patience to get the spacing just right so they flow naturally and the buds are really delicate, but it’s such a relaxing hobby for me. Plus, these little sprays are going to be the perfect filler to add texture and height to my bigger mother’s day bouquets
It’s just a small hobby, but I’m so happy that it brings in some small earnings for our home store. It’s all part of the happy hustle. Seeing these colorful stems piled up on my workspace really makes all the hard work worth it.
What do you think of these fillers? Do you think they’d look better mixed in with roses or just on their own in a tiny vase? I’d love to hear your creative ideas
