Greetings dearest hivers, how do you deal with things ending?
While endings can often be painful, graduation may just be one of the sweetest of them all. It marks the beautiful memories of struggles and determination, and the beginning of a wonderful journey of adulthood ahead. Recently, one of my best friend graduated in college, and for me it's a bittersweet experience. She's one of the closest friend I had since I started my journey in college, we've been boardmates for so long and been together to so many things.
This is a collage from my Pinterest I made, when I was being too sentimental.
She's my go-to-person whenever I feel disappointed about my grades, sad about my other friends, and even when I'm hungry Keke. She made my college life more bearable because she exist beside me. I am the happiest for her, now that she graduated but I cannot help myself to feel a little sad, knowing that any sooner she will move out from our boarding house now that she's done with her studies and will pursue a job in another city.
I accompanied her as she shop for her graduation fits, we hop from one boutique to another until she picked the most favorable. When the graduation day comes, my friend and I bought a flower as gift. Look how pretty this thing is. According to the saleslady at the flower shop, it's a dried flower from abroad, to make it lasting and look like synthetic ones. It was put in a box with fairy lights in it, something really cute to be given for a sentimental person like her.
When the ceremony was finished, we had a hard time reaching out to her. Because it was so crowded at the venue, we ended up not meeting and just straight up go to the restaurant for the dinner. We dine with her parents and several of our friends, it was a sumptuous meal. We have so much leftovers, that we had it for breakfast.
But for me the flower gift is not enough to express how much I cared for my best friend, so I made her a scrapbook filled with our pictures together and the message I want to tell of how utterly grateful I am for the friendship we have. I hope you have a great time reading my blog, sweet hivers. Until my next blogs, see you around.
Anniestly Yours
