Antique things have an appreciation and worth. Something can be old but it can be timeless; therefore, it becomes an antique. If this antique is preserved and deemed precious, it can be passed down as a family heirloom”

Do you also have a love for antique-like things and are fascinated by vintage places? As someone who loves vintage things, my little heart was so happy the second I saw on social media about a cafe where they have a lot of antique things and cars which are originally from the 1960’s!
This cafe is located in Alfredo Montelibano Ave, Canlaon View, Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental, which was also featured in Sunstar Bacolod. In order to get there, you have to ride a tricycle since it is located inside a subdivision and it is kind of far from the highway. Which makes the place more peaceful.
From cameras, vinyl record players, cars, classic vintage phones, mirrors, and even disease and wares, they definitely have it all! According to Sunstar Bacolod, the owner said that he started collecting them when he was still abroad.
As I love taking pictures a lot–so as my friends, going to places like these is definitely a must! We already went there twice, yet, I know for sure that there would never be last. My friends took a lot of pictures when we went there. From Solo pictures, to group pictures, to taking photos of the vintage things there. There are a lot of things that I love there, and no matter how often I go there, I am sure I will not have enough phone storage for pictures I could capture.
They also serve a variety of food which is undeniably delicious and affordable too, from drinks like coffee and milk tea, to Filipino breakfast meals such as tapsilog, cornsilog, etc., to snacks like nachos, pizza, and of course, everyone’s favorite–fries. Surely, It is not just your eyes and camera storage that would be full, but your tummy as well! The waitress there and other workers were also so nice and approachable. I remember when me and my friends were contemplating on what food to order, they were patient enough to wait for us and even helped us in choosing foods that we should eat.
Not a lot of people go here all the time, making it the best place if you want to study or just mesmerized by its vintage beauty. It is also great for a little get together, such as meeting your friends for a lunch. You will surely enjoy it since it is just you and your friends in that place, it’s like you have the freedom of doing what you want and talking without other people judging you for being too loud.
A lot of people also take their photoshoot here because of its scenery. I have seen a lot of pre-debut shoots taken here. Which I would also do, because of the place's uniqueness and vintage vibes, it makes the photos seem timeless, and who doesn’t want that though?
Sadly, the photos that I’ve taken weren't enough to show how beautiful the place is. But I guess, that’s it for now. Adios!
