Hi everyone's!!!
Do you know who that fisherman is? They are people whose livelihoods are fishing located in the high seas, or over shallow ocean waters, and also in the location of river mouths that are directly connected to the open sea.
In English it is called FISHERMEN and while the Aceh fishing community mentions Ureung Meulaot or called Fisheries Statistics Standards but more clearly they are referred to as people who actively carry out work in fishing operations or other aquatic animals and existing waters or plants in the sea or in saltwater rivers, as well as freshwater rivers.
Sometimes some people refer to this fishing term as FAO-TGRF which means people who take part in catching fish from fishing vessels, traditional fishing boats, and large bots with wood construction material. The fish he catches come from platforms or permanent or other floating devices, located from the beach or others.
Whereas people whose job is to make nets, or trawls, or other types of fishing gear that are sourced from threads and sanctioned threads are said to be fishermen. Then they transport fishing equipment into boats or motorboats, transport fish from boats or motorboats or traditional fishing boats also categorized as freelance fishermen.
So in this case the fishermen themselves are divided into several parts of the fishermen themselves. Whereas fishermen and seamen themselves are very different from these criteria.
Freelancers or native fishermen
In this category it is said as a freelance fisherman or native fisherman who is one of the fishermen who have sophisticated equipment, they have a large boat or boat, while inside the ship is equipped with large fishing gear and is equipped using other sophisticated marine devices.
Likewise, the area of operation is also very different from other types of fishermen, the size of this fisherman's travel time in fishing is said to be very far apart for miles from land. Then the catch also includes large fish like,
- Mackarel tuna
- Pomfret
- Mackerel
- Gabu fish
- Layaran fish
- Dencis fish
- Leubim fish
- Natuna black fish
- Lameuhan fish
- and other big fish that play in the high seas.
Thus it can be concluded that the freelance fishermen or native fishermen have large and sophisticated fishing gear, have fishing gear that is appropriate to the condition of the ship, as well as the operational distance and catches are different from small fishermen or traditional fishermen.
Traditional fisherman
Before the birth of freelancers or native fishermen, in the era of the 20s, these traditional fishermen were said to be genuine fishermen, but as the era became more sophisticated, the traditional fishing profession, turned into a native fisherman. However, especially in the territory of Indonesia around 1945, traditional fishermen were born again using simple fishing gear, these fishing gear have different names in local languages such as,
- Boat/jaloe kawe
- Wooden
- Boat Bruek
- Boat Langgar sedang
- Wooden canoe sails
- Small shrimp boat
- and other simple fishing gear that are constructed of wood.
This traditional fisherman also has a simple fishing gear that has a simple fishing gear or other traditional fishing gear. So the operational area is not as far as the original fishermen, if the offshore/native fishermen conduct operations in the middle of the high seas or the size is miles away from the mainland. So traditional fishermen use a location on the shallow sea if the calcukation has a distance of about 1 mile from the coastline.
Then what about the seasonal fishermen that are happening today? So in this case it will be mentioned in a future post.
