Greetings to you all!
Opportunity lost
Few weeks after we had finished NYSC, I got a call from Christiana(one of my colleagues during NYSC), she said her dad that works in CBN has five slots to take in new graduate and she felt like I should apply if interested.
I didn't waste time to ask her for the application link because I wasn't really employed then. More also, who doesn't want to work in CBN? the money printing bank of the country🤧🤧
She forwarded the link and I registered ASAP, I also forwarded all my credentials to her... that's how she got to know my age. Lol😂.
I told her to ask her dad on the position we're going for and also, the necessary requirements to ascertain the chances of being selected. She assured me that I need not to worry because I'd be selected as long as her father is in charge.
She even assured me that, they might wave off interview for me because I was living in Delta State which is far from the location.
When I heard about the interview wave off, I screamed! It's good to have nice female friends...with rich and influential fathers😁.
Just about for the process to materialized, covid19 showed up with its big head. I tried to keep my Faith and Hope alive but the strong wave of covid shook every sector of the world, to the extent that some people were relieved of their work.

That's how it ended, we waited for call up but it didn't come.
Opportunity grabbed
I tried so hard to think of any huge opportunity that came my way but I couldn't just figure out one. But nevertheless, let me share this...
During one of the Christmas celebrations, I travelled home to spend the season with family and as well as to see old friends.
One of the food I look forwardto eat during Christmas period is Goat meat. I don't joke with it!
Crazily enough, parents didn't slaughtered goat that season because things were very expressive and the economy was harsh, so there was no goat meat for me😢.
It was hard for me to believe that I wouldn't eat goat meat that season😭. I took my phone to call the Aunties and Uncles around, to see if they had slaughtered goat, but I got disappointed because none of them went for goat... everyone settled for chicken🙇.
The boxing day, one of my friends came and begged to excot him to see a family friend.
Story cut shot, we got there and they served us plates of meat, they were reasonable enough by not adding rice because rice is usually on excess on Christmas period.
When I checked the meat via the first bite, jeeeez, it was goat meat!
Dream come true!
A big miracle happened when my friend reminded me that he doesn't eat meat, he only eat fish.
Omo! I became the happiest person on Earth that moment. I relaxed and finished all😋
