The Yorubas will say "Ti a o ba reni bala bi ole lan ri" English "If we don't see anyone to help us, we might look like a lazy person to everyone seeing us".
As a human we all need help no matter how little it might be, nobody can do it all without anyone's help. Our efforts matter a lot because even if someone is helping you and you don't help yourself all the help will end up in vain.
Just like a friend of mine, his father sent him to school but he wasn't interested in school so all he did was collect school fee at home and spend it on unreasonable things.
At the end of everything his father died and he couldn't continue the rich kid life so he had to join his friends to do internet fraud, and all his father's effort on him was all in vain.
Meanwhile, I on the other hand I am interested in going to school but there was no one to send me, I tried my best to do the little one I could and I give thanks to God that I was able to do that.
Back to the topic of the day, " Who has been my helper to where I am now"
My elder sister and my fiancee have been the reason why I am here today because if not for their good support and their good deeds, I might not even get anywhere close to where I am today.
Words alone can't thank them for me because they stood by me when there was no one I could call for help.
I stopped working because I couldn't cope with the stress of the factory as I have said in some of my articles before, I was at home doing nothing but then when I got better my sister suggested that I have a hand work but I was feeling too big to learn.
She called my fiance and he talked to me about it, like play I started learning and they never stopped caring for my needs from the time I started learning till I was done with the training.
It gets to a certain point I looked at the two of them as my mother and father because what they did for me is more than what some parents can do for their children. My fear then was that I as a lady and would need money to take care of myself and if I was learning work there was no how I could make money.
My fiance took care of the responsibility and my sister on the other hand made sure every Friday she gave me transportation fees for the week and practical fees. Even the learning fee was split into 3 I took one, my fiancee took one and the remaining one was for my sister.
My elder sister and my fiancee have been the best Instrument that helped my life positively, and they took me from the down to the top where I am today.
On my sister's birthday, I always make sure I celebrate it for her in the little way my power can because that is nothing compared to what she has done in my life. And my fiancee, I can never stop loving him because he trained and reshaped me positively. I will be forever grateful for everything he has done in my life.
