Hola, comunidad, esta semana deseo compartir con ustedes mi versión de "Caballo viejo", la composicion mas versionada a nivel internacional de Simon Díaz, notable e inolvidable folklorista venezolano recordado como "El Tío Simón". En esta ocasión trata la temática del hombre mayor que se enamora de una jovencita. Los personajes son simbolizado por un caballo viejo y una potra.
En la parte de la canción que dice "Caballo le dan sabana porque está viejo y cansa'o" se hace alusión a la vieja costumbre llanera de "dar sabana" - es decir, soltar - al caballo viejo concediéndole así la licencia de disfrutar sus últimos años en total libertad.
Con respecto al amor otoñal, así como la canción tiene muchas versiones también las tiene esta modalidad de amor. Desde la relación "Cuarenta y veinte" que cantara José José hasta diferencias de edad mucho más amplias.

A veces las relaciones se dan basadas en el interés, otras son producidas por las etapas que son llamadas "Crisis de los 40" o "Crisis de los 50" en el hombre.
Pero otras veces sí son relaciones basadas en un amor verdadero por ambas partes. Es cuando, realmente, como dice la canción "Quererse no tiene horario ni fecha en el calendario cuando las ganas se juntan"
Este post va dedicado a las personas que en este momento coinciden con el mismo amor aunque no coincidan con la misma edad.
