After holi vacation back to work... let me tell you about the "holi" festival of India, Holi is a most colorful, enjoyable and most fun-filled festival which is celebrated in the month of March depends on the hindu calendar, usually in the latter half of the month. It is a festival, with dancing, singing, and throwing of powder colour and colour water. It is also a time to bring everyone together as one.
Shops, schools and offices remain closed for the 3-4 day and people get all the time to get crazy and whacky. yes it is so, even everybody is waiting for the holi, holi is the only festival in india, which is full of enjoyment n fun, even Children take special delight in spraying gulal on one another with their pichkaris and throwing water balloons.
People chasing each other in the streets and buildings, armed with packets of dry powdered coloured and splattering random people from head to toe in colors. It’s a free-for-all. It’s madness. And it’s really freaking fun! I have some pictures of my holi celebration i would like to share with all.
hahahaha... everybody looking same now.. you can't guess anybody in this picture. even i played alot, with the playing you stomach get too hungry, refuel with some tasty Holi delicacies such as gujiya, tasty lunch with condensed milk and dried fruits, and thandai a cold drink prepared with a mixture of almonds, fennel seeds, rose petals, cardamom, saffron, milk and sugar, this special drink of holi
After all the fun and excitement, i slept for 4 hours in the noon time, because after eating too much, i got too tired... i have one more picture to share with you, my uncle and aunt romantic picture, or i should say "pic of the holi 2019".
