I am finally found a home. The 36-year old editor and actress, originally from Beloresk, Bashkorkostan, had spent the last ten years living across the globe, with stops in Stockholm, London, Berlin and Amsterdam, before finally landing on the golden shores of Los Angeles, U.S.A.
I got lucky working both in front of camera as an actress, and behind the scenes as a film editor. My career in the entertainment industry started with a chance meeting with Swedish director Magnus Aronson, who offered me the lead role in his new film Utan dig dör jag. During the course of the shoot, I became fascinated with the technical aspects of the production, and began classes at the Media Institute and at Calle Flygare in Stockholm. Through my classes and further work with Mr. Aronson, I discovered that I had a talent for editing, and an ambition to work within the film industry.
One of my favorite projects is Bo, an award-winning documentary by Schwep, which explores how a vibrant man's terminal cancer diagnosis is the beginning of an unforgettable adventure. This film has won multiple film festival awards in America, including several for best editing.
2017 was and still is a very productive year for me.
Working and living in Hollywood, the entertainment capital of the globe, is a dream come true. With many other projects on my desk, I am no shortage of work, and hope I can provide a great example for girls everywhere to follow their dreams and ambition wherever they may lead.
