I know that most people seeing this photo will ask themselves, what does it have to do with Christ's resurrection! Practically nothing, but for me personally this place is a kind of reminder. Let me explain, you see that old and tilted pole for electricity, for most people, it is completely insignificant because they do not see what is obvious. Pole is made in the form of a cross, which is raised high, that everyone sees it!
I like two sides of the cross, on one side, He is crucified and this side of the cross represent His suffering and death for us, other side of the cross is empty, Christ is no longer hung on it, this side represent His victory and resurrection, for He is risen from the dead, defeating all enemies: the devil, sin and death!
The reason I chose this photo? I do not consider myself as a religious person, I do not care for human customs and traditions, I prefer to see myself as His disciple who is trying to change himself! I think we should celebrate Christ's resurrection everyday, and not just once a year!
I often come to this place, I like to walk by the canal and enjoy in peace and silence, and the pole is always there, not to remind me of the cross, but to Jesus!
