A few years ago we got a new bed and nothing we had on hand worked for night stands. They were all too short. So I went in search of the perfect old desk! Found this desk at an auction got it for $5.00! Solid cherry wood drawers were all dove tailed too. I took the stain off the top first then cut them apart.
The difference was great after getting one of them cleaned up!
The bonus, the thin center drawer was used for the little dog a new bed for under the coffee table.
