So just got back from the lawyers today. They're going to draw up a contract overnight and we'll have it before day's end tomorrow.
I must say I always thought lawyers and accountants would be sleezy and grimey but it turns out it's just real estate agents. The lawyer we got was pretty cool and was very helpful. He's given us good tips on progressing our home loan application and we're looking on track.
It's quite a relief having people who know the game. It makes it a relief that we know what's happening and how we're tracking. But having that knowledge from people willing to give up that knowledge just makes it more of a relief.
I'm really starting to get excited but I also have to be reserved because there's still the matter of the bank giving us the dough.
