The Bearadise Motel
For the last week and a few days I have been staying at the Bearadise Motel in Idaho Springs, CO. Largely due to having so many issues with my van and not being able to rely on it. Most of the time I have been in the motel it was broke down (not drive-able). Well I was just informed by the owner of the hotel that I have to be out by Wednesday, that it isn't an apartment and that I can't stay but two weeks. He already has my room rented out so I have to leave.
My van is drive-able, barely but there is no where else I can afford to stay within hundreds of miles of here and I am afraid to drive too far and risk my van leaving me stranded in where I can't do anything but walk away and leave my stuff behind. To make matters even worse, there are people here who have been here for 2 months or longer and it appears they are all gonna have to get out soon as well.
Car Fund
I have been trying to raise enough funds to get a car so I can go to work for/with Uber. That is still my plan, I just hope my van holds up long enough for me to:
* Find a safe place to park my van and leave it while I am working, so I can live in it for a while; until I can get a place to live or an RV.
* Get a car so I can start Uber'ing and earning some descent money.
Oh Well!
Guess I gonna have to cross a few more speed bumps before I get back onto the smooth road.
