Print a schedule out like this one below, and review it together at the beginning of the day explaining this is an “orientation day”. This way, the next day when school work begins in earnest, you will not need to introduce or review these important points below. Your schedule can be any time frame that best fits your family.

1ST SESSION(SESSIONS usually would be school work time. On the “orientation day”, do the following):
PICK AND ARRANGE OFFICE,CHECK SUPPLIES & BOOKS OR PLACE ORDERS
If using “Pace” booklets, don’t forget to pull the “tests” out of the middle of the workbook before giving the workbook to your student! : )
