Tired of trying to burn wet wood. Once we started to heat using only wood it was important to have DRY wood. Please watch our video showning you how to build a wood shed using cedar log harvested on our homestead, material recycled from a local farmer, and cedar slabs from a local sawmill. The total build was less than $200 and we are very proud of how it turned out...so our many of our visitors to the homestead. We were very happy with the build and we are able to store enough wood for 2 years in it. It has been a great addition to our homestead!
If you don't have cedar you could use hedge or osage (same as hedge depending on where you live) or locust. All are good and rot resistance.
