Hi Steemit Friends,
I've been exploring some interesting things over the last month or so that I will also be sharing with you above and beyond the beekeeping. I've decided I'm going to start looking at a lot of things that were done 40 or 50 years ago and to see if it's time to bring them back. Craft related items especially.
So my latest project is macrame. I learned how to do this super simple one off of a YouTube video. The measuring took the most amount of time. The knotting took maybe 15 minutes max. I'm just getting warmed up.
My next project is going to be much more elaborate. Since I have no place to keep plants because of my cats, I am hoping to create a few of these so the plants are far above from where they cats are able to jump from or climb onto .
I might be able to enjoy my basil for however long it supposed to last instead of having to hurry and use it all up within the week.
So that's where I'm starting and I just wanted to share that with you all. I will also put together a video on my next macrame project as well as some other things, I've been putting together including the beekeeping.
And now my big question to everybody is what are the old school crafts, customs or foods you prepare or enjoy? Let me know.
Until the next time....
