These are but a few of the Eisenia fetida populating our compost piles. Having never thought much of them until about 2 years ago, I have since discovered how efficient they are at turning our refuse into quality fertilizer, at building soil and overall being highly beneficial to the whole environment. So now I feel like selling, or giving away - to the deserving poor - some of them.
