A friend of mine brought over a nice piece of brisket. I seared it in my oven on the wood stove, then added a little water and let it braise for four hours. I then set it out side over night to cool. The next day I sliced it, heated some of the slices and made myself a nice grilled brisket and sandwich for dinner. I must admit I had the same thing cold for lunch and tonight I heated some up with juice on the wood stove, thickened the juice to make gravy and popped a potato inside the stove to bake. I think I am getting the hang of this.
