On Thursday I finally got back to exercising in the morning. It had been planned to happen the day I got sick in January. I managed a few of the most important exercises, about 25 minutes of work. But it wore me right out. Garden gym is much easier!
I worked on the filing and finally got it caught up. Kept the stoves going while it rained off and on. I was supposed to trim the mesclun and feed it. I got this much of the trimming done, for supper.
I made creamed chipped beef for supper, also known as SOS for those in the service. Mine wasn’t on the “shingle” but jasmine rice instead. It’s a simple white sauce with pepper and I added a small amount of celery salt as the beef is salty. I also added some Parmesan cheese to make it creamier.
Friday will be the usual chaos with my general helper and helper friend here. It’s going to be too cold and wet in the morning to go outside, so I hope to work in the cellar trying to get cabinets in place and sorting things into them.
