First thing Sunday morning we moved the pasture pen. We decided to move it closer to the house (we do so love the 7 roosters crowing at 4:15AM – NOT!) as it would save time next Saturday when we must move it again. We will need a clean catching area for Freezer Camp on the 6th. If we’d continued down the pasture to the road, next Saturday we’d be having to drag the whole she-bang all the way to the house again.
Once that was done, I cut parsley for the dehydrator and he did some caulking. I found several swallowtail caterpillars on it.
I started work in the New Herb garden and cut an armload of Tulsi basil during the cleaning out.
He got the middle pasture mowed so the delivery truck with the propane tank can get across it on Tuesday.
The Anne raspberries are coming into their second fruiting. They sure are good!
While I loaded dehydrators after lunch, he mowed the back 40.
Evening sun on the trees to the south on the back 40.
Monday we start the craziness of prepping for Freezer Camp.
