Monday was a lovely sunny day. The blue sky was so clear, deeply blue in the morning when I got ready to go to the bulb show.
Most of the trees along the west end of the driveway are oaks. But I could have sworn I saw swelling red maple buds up there.
We still have snow but it’s melting more each day.
Dennis had spent time in the sun in the haybox and wasn’t in a hurry to leave it, even as the sun went down.
When I went up to get the mail, the full Worm Moon was really lovely over the house.
It will be full at quarter to 8AM on Tuesday morning.
Monday I got the laundry washed and folded, kitchen cleaned up, and left at 9:30AM for the bulb show. I didn’t get back home until noon and was wiped out from all the standing. I slept off and on all afternoon.
Tuesday my helper friend will be here and after feeding all the house plants, we will resume work on the root cellar. It’s a short day, as I have an appointment late morning. I doubt I’ll get much more done when I get home.
