On Monday morning I wasn’t moving too fast. Between sleeping and getting shower, I went outside for awhile. A good indicator of how well I wasn’t doing is that I never even thought about pulling a weed.
I turned around and got this shot of the woodshed.
Then I went to see if the robin had returned to her nest after all our commotion on Sunday afternoon. The nest is right at the front of the shed.
In the Old North garden the Virginia bluebells are gorgeous.
My Kousa dogwood is starting to leaf out.
Down in the Little Trees row, #11 Juneberry is in full flower. I need to remove the white protectors.
#9 Contender peach has no more flowers, but there’s tons of tiny fruit sets on each branch. I know I have to remove some of them from each one, but I sure hate to do it…
I went over to the chairs by the Big garden and sat down for a while. This is the view through the fence.
Above me the magnolia had just a few flowers left.
At its base, the little violet garden is in full bloom.
Looking left to the back porch, the azalea hasn’t done much, but the spiderwort and lamium are duking it out over territory.
It was a beautiful day, but I spent the rest inside, in hopes I’d be well enough to go the homeschoolers recital in the evening. I slept on and off all day.
