Just before sunrise…
On Wednesday I was up just after 6AM and got my post up. I had to keep tending the stoves. I got my hot cacao made and into a basket with a nice cup and spoon. Then I got ready to go to the coffee hour at 8:30AM before exercise class.
Sun just coming up and hitting the trees to the west
One person had made blueberry muffins and another ginger lemon scones. I made it through exercise class just fine and had time to get unpacked, tend the stoves, and ready to head out to the other appointment.
Nice neat paths in the backyard
The snow has started to pack down, so it’s not as deep as it was on Tuesday.
Birdwatcher…
Once back home, I found an e-mail with a lot of information on the estate/transition stuff for the farm.
So I spent the rest of the afternoon working on getting a listing up for the farm.
Feeders in the bitter cold as the sun comes up…
I finished about 5PM and got the shades pulled and the stoves really going. It was to drop below 0F during the night.
I made some supper and sat and watched 800 Words until 8:30PM. I got the stoves going and headed to bed.
Squirrel on the snowbank by the back porch
On Thursday I have to put in a lot of shopping orders first thing in the morning, then get the kitchen cleaned up and get a shower. My #4 helper will be here at 1:30PM and she’s going to do all the stuff my helper friend didn’t get done because he couldn’t get here due to the storm on Tuesday. And there’s always stoves to tend…even when it’s sunny.
