On Thursday I started on the solar stats at 7:15AM and worked straight through until 5PM. It was a cold sunny windy day.
On Friday when I pulled the shade up this is what I found.
There wasn’t enough snow to make it look pretty but I still had to sweep all the steps to prevent icing.
Everything looked very dreary. I got a shower and got chores done, cleaned the kitchen, and got ready for exercise class.
Tom arrived at 8:30AM with the little “new” computer. He started trying to get things transferred over, to find programs and load them, and just try to get things to work.
It’s a tiny thing, you can barely see it by the table leg.
I left at 9:15AM for exercise class and got back by 10:45AM. Tom had made some progress, but one problem was we only had 1 functional keyboard. So he set up a “keyboard” on the monitor of the old computer.
So this is how he left it, until he has time to come back to set up more stuff. He’ll bring and extra keyboard too.
I got some lunch and we both had to head out at 12:45PM. Almost all the snow had melted by this time.
I was attending the 2nd event down at the Senior Center, about birds at your feeder in winter. It was a very well presented talk and we had good attendance. The Senior van brought me down and back.
I was pretty exhausted by the time I got home at 2:30PM.
On Saturday, I expect I will spend a good deal of time trying to set things up and so forth while I attempt to work on the solar stats some more.
