On Wednesday I had planned to do some cooking, but I just couldn’t do all the standing. So I decided to try to get all the candles (all 37) in the windows for when my mom came in the evening. It would be her only chance to see them from outside.
But she ended up coming for 3:30PM, just as I finished so they weren’t very visible.
Big garden
When I was up in the night on Tuesday night, it had started to snow. When I got up on Wednesday morning, we had a good amount but it had started to rain. So I got these photos.

Small garden and middle pasture
By the time my mom got here at 3:30PM it was mostly washed away from the rain. I visited with my middle brother who had brought her for an hour and a half and then he headed back to Connecticut.
Just as my brother was leaving he looked out the dining room window and saw 4 deer staring at the horses next door.
I was really having a bad day, so my mom got scrambled eggs, toast with blueberry jam, and frozen wild blueberries. After supper she wanted to watch “It’s a Wonderful Life” until it was time for bed at 8PM.
Larry had to test the suitcase. I suspect what he was really doing was making sure he got his scent all over everything, just to annoy my mom’s cat back at her house.
I was finally in bed around 9PM.
On Thursday, Thanksgiving, I planned to get up early and get some of the cooking done before starting on the other things. It was going to be a long day.
