On Wednesday my intern’s dad pointed out we should take down the deer stand and put it away. He went out to see how hard it would be. The deer must have heard what he was up to, because this is what I saw at 4:30 that afternoon.
Mind you this is the MIDDLE of hunting season and normally we see NO deer from early October until January.
They were VERY unconcerned about me flashing photos from the barn area.
They were about 50’ back from the tree stand.
They all seem to have good weight this year.
My intern was here on Wednesday and our big push was to get as much of the New Herb garden cleaned out as we could. We made it to the far edge of the walkway between rows 3 & 4. Then the rain started so we quit.
The rain will continue through Friday, and then it gets cold. I don’t know if anymore will get done out there, unless my helper friend does it on his 1 day here…
Thursday and forward all efforts will be towards getting the addition and house usable for my husband to come home as soon as he is able.
