My helper friend was here on Friday morning and we decided to hang the birdfeeders he’d washed up a couple weeks ago.
When I had to take down all the trees on the east side of the house, I lost my birdfeeder station. Two years ago we put up these posts and hung the feeders here. They aren’t as easy to see but they are up high enough the bears can’t get them and the mess stays out of the yard.
We could only get 7 of the feeders on the rope. I think I can add 1 more on the right next time I let the feeders down to fill them. There will be 5 with bird seed, one with thistle seed and 2 suet feeders.
I had been unable to get to the feed store this week. They are having a sale and I’d wanted to hit it. So my helper friend said he’d go for me and bring the seed down on Saturday. Hopefully it won’t be pouring when he gets here and we can fill the feeders. It’s supposed to rain much of the day.
The other thing I got done was packing a few more boxes with the pots and pans to go to the attic. On Saturday I hope to finish that job. Then the carpenter’s helper can get all the boxes into the attic on Monday.
