I’ve spent most of Sunday and Monday recovering from being so busy on Friday and Saturday. Mostly on the couch watching Call the Midwife.
The last of the scabs fell off on Monday and there will be 3 small scars around my eye. Now if I could just get the chapping around my mouth under control…
Hard to believe it will be February 1 tomorrow and February 2 on Thursday. The Old Farmers Almanac quotes “Just half your wood and half your hay, should be remaining on Candlemas Day.” Candlemas Day is February 2nd. No hay to check this year, but we do have more than half our wood left.
Tuesday my helper friend will be here. It’s supposed to be sunny for a change and I will offer him a choice of being outside, cutting down tall stuff in the Fence gardens, or inside working on cleaning up house plants: cutting away dead, untangling vine plants for renewal, replacing old pot hangers before they break, and maybe repotting.
