On Tuesday morning I got a surprise when I pulled up the shades. It was snowing outside and everything was white.
It had stopped by the time my helper friend arrived at 9:30AM.
We had several things to accomplish on Tuesday. Finish the upstairs bedroom cleaning, move all the mess above and create a new office for Tom there, and start spring cleaning the bathroom upstairs.
We finished the bedroom and before I could get a photo of it, we had already trashed it again by taking everything out of the bathroom and putting it here.
Once the bedroom was done, we came down and hoed out the area for Tom’s office and put most of the stuff away. Then we dusted and polished and swept everything, found a chair in the attic, and set it up. He will need it on Wednesday morning.
Then we started on the bathroom. I have had several bad nights with the leg pain and by the time we got here, I really needed to rest. So my helper friend vacuumed the ceiling and walls and scrubbed any areas that needed it on them.
I sat down at my desk downstairs and made a couple birthday cards. Then I went back up. He scrubbed the small tables while I washed delicate things like the ceiling light shade and some china decorations. It was time for him to go by then, so we quit. We’ll resume work in here on Thursday.
I made some lunch and soon was too tired again so I went to bed for a nap.
When I got up late afternoon most of the snow had melted.
Wednesday I hope to work on the end of year stuff in the office in the morning. I have to wrap birthday presents for my surrogate grandchild who is coming in the afternoon. So it’s going to be another busy day.
