Monday was another cloudy cold day. I got laundry started and realized I had to starch and iron the everyday linens I’d washed in November. The Christmas linens were being washed and dried and I’d need to iron them too.
I got them done and laid out to dry. I’d put them out on Tuesday.
While I waited for the Christmas linens to finish washing, I brought in all the outside decorations to dry before being put away. I have to build hanging structures in the new attic for them.
The Christmas boxes from the front porch were new to me this year. I bought them hoping I could replace the greens each year. With that in mind I took lots of photos so I can see what they looked like.
The linens finished washing and I got them starched and laid out to dry in the living room. I’ll put them away in one of the totes on Tuesday.
By the time I finished them, I’d had about enough standing, so the stockings never got washed. I will have to do them on Tuesday also.
I made a meatloaf for lunch and sat down for a while as the contractor was coming to work on the root cellar mid afternoon.
So Tuesday will be finishing the laundry, putting out or away linens, building hanging racks for the outside decorations, and finally finishing the bills/budget.
