L-R: garlic, catnip, nasturtiums, horehound (in back), 3 rows garlic
So I started the weeding project in the Big garden yesterday, out there all morning. I got the first 10’ done this morning and my husband is bringing another round bale up for mulching. I saved the catnip and nasturtium volunteers.
Rain was forecast and arrived ahead of schedule so my helper friend and I had to abandon our mulching plans. So I decided to fill dehydrators instead.
Tansy at 5’+ tall, before harvesting
I’d finished up filling a ½ gallon jar with yarrow this morning and had done rugosa roses also. Today we did more plantain, sage, and tansy.
This sage is for our use. The buggy ones are for the layers.
I joke my layers are pre-seasoned….
