On Sunday morning I got up around 6AM and got the post up and fed the starving cat. I was ready by 8AM and headed out to the back 40. I started at the top of the photo in the middle. I had a lot of fence repair to do right in front of the barn.
Then I went across the top of the pasture and worked my way down the left side, across the bottom and up to where the trees start on the right. That was where I had to quit on Saturday. It’s finished. It was 11:30AM.
I got a shower as soon as I got in the house, because you know, poison ivy. I was able to wash well and finish the shower. Then I sat and rested a while.

A conference call was set up for the family to let everyone know what was going on. My brothers will be setting up the care for her in CT before she can go home on hospice.
I read for a while then spent hours on the phone with family members. This is going to be another long haul….
I got a call back from the mulch hay guy and he said he will be mowing on Tuesday or Wednesday starting around 8AM. Finally the pastures will be done.
Tom stopped by on the milk run and we talked for about an hour at suppertime.
On Monday I have laundry as usual, the kitchen to clean up, and exercise class at 9AM. We’ll see if I get anything else done. It’s been a hard weekend, and I might just read.
