On Sunday morning I wasn’t up until 6:40AM. I didn’t want to get out of my warm cocoon. I got the stoves going and my post up. I pulled the shades up at 7:30AM because the sun was coming over the trees, but it was mighty cold out there.
I went to work on the garden notes transcription and worked until 11AM when I had to take a break. This is the view out the dining room window as I worked.
I watched some Doc Martin after some lunch and dozed for a while. Then I went back to the transcription and got the A/B section finished. Next up, the C/D section.
Late afternoon shadows across the front pasture
When I checked my e-mail I had gotten 9 responses to the farm ad for a transitional farmer. I sat down for a while and the second one to have responded called and we talked for over an hour about what we were both looking for.
I had to get shades pulled and stoves going when we finished talking and then I made supper and got the dying cat fed. I watched Doc Martin until 8:30PM when I got the stove set and headed to bed.
On Monday I have exercise class, and later a lunch at the Senior center. I’m hoping to get some work done on the C/D section of transcription. I have an appointment late afternoon and another class about transitioning the farm at 7PM. My intern will be here and hopefully I can get in ok …
