On Thursday I again got up late around 6:15AM and never got around to breakfast until 9AM. I’d just finished when the mulch hay guy called and said he was loaded and could deliver whenever. So I said now’s as good as ever, so he headed my way.
When I got up to the barn, Dennis the Girl was sunbathing in the bay window of the butchershop. I had the camera and got a good shot.
I had parked the car by the old layer pen and when I got out I saw dozens of mushrooms growing along the fence. They must have come up during the 60F day last week.
He’d brought 20 more and they fit in the barn just fine. We might have been able to get 5 - 8 more in but it wasn’t worth the trip. He said he had about 20 more, but the mice had chewed the strings so they were coming apart.
He said he’d keep them until April and bring them and put them right into the Small garden, as I will probably need them there.
When I got back to the house I was being watched.
I spent the rest of the afternoon watching videos and playing solitaire. I needed to sit in my chair and let my back rest. It seems (knock wood) to finally be improving.
So I never got to finishing the bills/budget and I hope to do that on Friday morning.
