When I got up on Sunday morning it was snowing. It kept up until nearly noon. We didn’t get much but it was all white again.
I got the dishes caught up, the laundry finished for LAST week, a shower, and made a meal. Then I took a nap and watched a movie. So I did better than Saturday.
On Monday I have someone coming out to look at my husband’s rod shop. It sure would be good to sell it to someone who will use it to build rods. Then I could move the freezers into their room and get them organized again.
I also have this week’s laundry to do. I was supposed to take the truck in for a 3 month check of the transmission on Monday morning. Tom’s worked diligently trying to figure out the problem with it. He made some progress with vacuum lines Sunday afternoon, but found a rotted gasket and a grommet that both need replaced. So he will try to find those and get them on and hopefully that will fix it, but not in time for Monday’s appt.
Monday my old cat turns 21. Her birthday is February 14, 2001. In cat years she will be 100. In the past her birthday “cake” was a can of wet food. But for the last 18 months she has only had soft wet food I make into a soup so she can eat it. I used to give her a raw egg, but she stopped eating them a couple months back. I might try one of those, well beaten.
It’s turned real cold again and will be 12F Sunday night and cold all day Monday. It will be even colder on Monday night and during the day on Tuesday then warm back up into the 30’s and 40’sF by the end of the week. So I will be stoking stoves again for a few days.
