On Wednesday morning I was up just after 6AM and this was what greeted me in the kitchen, the disaster left from Tuesday. I got the poor cat fed and my post up and then pulled up the shades and unloaded the dehydrator.
I quickly discovered that standing was not going to be my forte on this day. So I sat for a while and then got a load in the dishwasher.
And sat again and got the laundry folded. And sat again.
But the most important job of the day was trying to get the house plants watered. I had my friend’s plants and some of them were dropping leaves. I’m hoping it was the transition. But the peace lily sent out a bud, a good sign.
The 2 Boston ferns had a rough summer. The older one has started to recover. But the newer one is looking really bad. I cut away all the dead stuff and hope it makes a comeback.
I got the living room ones done and sat down. I had hoped to have my helper doing this with me, because it’s an awful lot of standing.
I rested for an hour and then got all the ones in the rest of the house done.
I hadn’t quite finished the ones in the office when the electric company guy arrived to change out the meter. I hope this means a lower, not estimated bill…
I got the first floor house plants done and couldn’t face climbing the stairs to do the second floor. I’ll have to do them on Thursday.
Another beautiful day spent inside as I just didn’t have the energy to go outside to work.
On Thursday I hope I have a better day and can get outside. I still have the kitchen mess to finish cleaning up. And laundry to put away and plants on the second floor to water. And my helper friend comes at noon and we have dehydrators to load, Juneberries to pick, errands to run, and chores to do. So we will see…
