Saturday morning I got the kitchen cleaned up, chores done, then worked on the tree for a while. I got the 2nd largest section done. I’m having to stand now to do it, so I don’t last very long.
A reminder came in the mail Friday afternoon that I need to plan the gardens and work up seed orders. I also need to have my helper friend take soil samples from the Big, Small, and New Herb gardens. It will be interesting to see how the soil has changed from 3 years ago when I last did it.
I went out at 10AM and got the trash loaded into the truck. I had to wait for my son to wake up before I could go. I finally woke him at 11:30 and we were done by noon.
My youngest brother arrived to cut up the thin kindling for the masonry heater. Once that was done he showed me pictures of his recent vacation and we chatted a while.
I got a little bit more done on the 3rd section of the tree. I hope to finish the fluffing on Sunday morning. Then I will start running lights, once I’ve sat and checked them all.
