I woke up around 6AM, slept pretty well after my day out on Monday. The sun was out, something we’ve not seen a lot of this winter. There was still some snow left but most of it melted during the day.
Late in the afternoon it clouded up and started to rain and that took care of the rest of it.
I got the laundry started eventually and finished my big book Charleston. Made some food and watched some videos. Spent a lot of time talking on the phone with family and friends.
At lunch time while I was waiting for food to cook, I managed to get 1 tray full of ornaments off one side of the big Christmas tree.
But mostly I took it easy. My bruises aren’t as swollen and the color is fading fast. The itching has started on the scraped/cut places but it’s still too tender to touch. So I spent a lot of time raising my hand to scratch my face only to go ouch.
On Wednesday I have an appointment for an evaluation for more home help. I’d received a letter approving a near triple increase in hours each week on Friday. Depending on the results, I may be authorized for more.
The contractor isn’t coming in the afternoon, he moved it to Thursday. So maybe I will make headway on the trees. I haven’t turned them on since Sunday as an incentive to get started.
