On Wednesday evening around 6PM I went out to do the cats and this balloon was approaching the house from due south. It was over the neighbors 3 or 4 houses down.
As it got closer it was going to go right over my head as I stood on the steps to the office.
I zoomed through the office and out the back door. By then it was already over the neighbor’s.
They only had about 20 minutes of light left as it’s been getting dark really early now. But we’ve had glorious weather, much more like September than mid October and it was a perfect night for a balloon ride.
